Kadam presents an evening of Odissi and Kathak, performed by six leading artists in a programme designed to awaken the senses to the power and grace of classical Indian dance.

Odissi derives from the temples of East India and is imbued simultaneously with devotion and sensuality. Kathak is marked by great virtuosity in its fiery rhythms, sharp pirouettes and subtle grace.

In the varied programme, solos, duets and group pieces alternate, making for an evening of surprising contrasts and rich harmonies. Two male and four female dancers bring their unique quality to the performance.
