Celebrated Yorkshire poet, essayist and novelist, Blake Morrison’s publications include And When Did You Last See Your Father?, As If, and his latest book Things My Mother Never Told Me. Blake will be reading, answering questions, and signing copies of his new book.

This event is hosted by The Writers’ Circle and the Central Library Readers’ Group. The Writers Circle is a forum for all fiction and non-fiction writers in the area. Meetings fall on the first and third Thursday of each month, and beginners as well as more experienced writers are welcome. The Readers Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the Central Library and offers a friendly and informal environment in which to discuss books and writing. Phone Sheila Green at Central Library for details of how to join.
