An early contender for this years Booker Prize, Robert Edric has won several prestigious awards including the James Tait Black Memorial Award and has published twelve novels. He has been acclaimed as one of Britains most compelling and talented contemporary novelists. Robert Edric was born in Sheffield in 1956. He completed his doctorate at Hull University and now lives in Hornsea.
